Silent auction closes March 12 @ 8:00pm
Live Auction online bids close March 12 @ 8:00pm and will be continued on site at 8:30! If you can’t make it to the event, we will proxy bid up to your maximum bid for you!
This year’s Charity Bash will be held on Tuesday, March 12 from 6:30pm-9:30pm at the Ann Arbor Veteran’s Memorial Ice Arena to support Home of New Vision, a local organization that offers transitional housing for women recovering from chemical dependency, and Girls On The Run, a prevention program in Ypsilanti that encourages young girls to have self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. We’re hoping to surpass last year’s Charity Bash which raised almost $4,000!
This year’s Charity Bash will include food, some free-skate time, silent and live auctions, and the Faculty vs Med Students Broomball Match! Auctioned items include Business Donations, Faculty Donations, as well as Student Donations!
This year, both silent and live auctions will be held online! The bidding system is similar to eBay — just enter the maximum amount that you are willing to bid, and the system will automatically place the lowest possible winning bid. For example, if you enter a max bid of $75, and the second highest bidder puts a max bid of $50, then you win and you pay $51. Still confused? Click here for help! If you are outbid, you will be notified via email (though this system is new and may be flaky–so check back often!).
Silent auctions will close at 8:00pm on the day of the event. Live auctions will be available for online bidding until 8pm. They will then be continued live at 8:30pm at the venue, and we will place proxy bids for those not present. Click on the links below to view the auctions. Winners will be notified via email and may pay via credit card (PayPal) or live at the event. You need not be present to win (just be willing to enter a huge maximum bid!)
